PayMyFees Usage Terms for Institute Users, Students & their Parents.

By accessing and using the PayMyFees (Platform) to accept & pay fees online, you confirm that you are in agreement with and bound by the terms and conditions contained in the Terms Of Use outlined below. These terms apply to the entire website, portals, gateways and any/all email or other type of communication between you and PayMyFees / SevenM Technologies Private Limited (Company).

PayMyFee is an online fees payment and collection software for Schools, Colleges and Universities. SevenM Technologies Private Limited is a independent software development company based at Kolkata, India.

PayMyFee or SevenM Technologies Private Limited, its Directors or Employees are in no way, directly or indirectly, involved in any process of any School, College or University. We are neither admission consultants nor agents of any institution. All the processes at these Institures are entirely managed, operated and presided over by themselves & PayMyFee or SevenM Technologies Private Limited has no control over it.

PayMyFee shall not be liable for any delay on the student's part, for any time-bound payments asked by the participating Insititues.

PayMyFee
'PayMyFee' refers to the computer program capable of processing student data, receive payment through online payment gateways & generate and publish reports. 'PayMyFee' also refers to & includes all related services, functionalities and facilities, more colloquially referred to as 'Software'.
SevenM
'SevenM' refers to the legal entity who holds all rights to PayMyFee, its trademarks, servers, presentation formats, business logic. SevenM is the parent company who owns and has developed the software.
Institute
'Institute' refers to any school, college, university, coaching institute or entity who has signed up to use PayMyFee services.
Admin
'Admin' are persons or group of persons who form a part of the Institute and have access to the Administration Panel of the software and are responsible for configuring, managing and operating the software.
Students
'Students' are desiring users who wish to pay for different academic courses available at their respective Institute. For better understanding, Parents, who pay on behalf of their wards will also be treated as Students.
Processing Fee
'Processing Fee' is the amount, either expressed in percentage, fixed value or both, which shall be deducted from the total amount paid by students for each transaction done online. These deductions shall be made towards payment for a combination of, but not limited to, Bank Processing Charges, Payment Gateway Setup & Integration Charges, Convenience Fees, SMS Charges, etc.

SevenM reserves the right to approve, cancel, upgrade or downgrade any customer account at its own discretion and choice, without assigning any reason whatsoever to anyone.

PayMyFee services are currently limited to educational organizations only.

  • The Institute is expected to provide correct information while signing up for the service. Registrations with untrue or misleading information will lead to suspension of Institute's account with immediate effect without any notice, clarifications, payout, settlements and/or refunds from SevenM.
  • Services will be suspended if payment, against invoice(s) raised to the Institute (if any), is not received within the due date. In such an event, settlements of online payment collected on behalf of the Institute shall be withheld, to the extent of outstanding amount, until the balance payment is released in full & final. In case of service suspension due to non/delayed payment, services shall resume only upon full and final payment only.
  • Delivery of invoices (if any) will be in the electronic format only.
  • All fees and charges quoted are in Indian Rupees. Payments received in currency other than Indian Rupees (INR) shall be converted to INR at the then prevailing exchange rates.
  • The Institute shall use the software at their own cost and will be responsible for all the data, content and files saved, uploaded or fed into the software.
  • SevenM aims to provide best quality services to the Institutes. However, Institute experience may depend upon many factors, viz. Internet Connection Speed, System Configuration, etc. No claims for refunds, reimbursements, and/or compensations, either in part or full, shall be entertained owing to poor performance, undesired software behavior, and/or conditions beyond the control of SevenM and/or the Institute.
  • SevenM shall take due care to protect the Institute's data and shall take all necessary steps to safeguard and ensure proper storage and retrieval of it during the entire service period. However, SevenM will not be responsible or liable to pay for or compensate, in any manner, monetary or otherwise, for any infringement or loss of Institute's data beyond company's control.
  • The Institute, the Admin and the Students are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials (Id & Password). They are also responsible for all and any activity related to their respective accounts. If the Institute suspects any unauthorized usage of the software & related services, it's the sole responsibility of the Institute to notify SevenM immediately for suspension or blocking the said account from further misuse.
  • SevenM shall not disclose, sell, hire or lease Institute's data to any third party. SevenM may however preserve and use the Institute's information for troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research and service improvement, promotional & internal operations without any financial and/or non-financial obligations to anybody and without any prior permissions and consent from anybody.
  • SevenM may disclose Institute's information if required to do so by law or if SevenM believes in good faith that such preservation and/or disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
    • comply with the legal process; enforce these terms and conditions of use;
    • respond to claims for any content violating the right/s of third party/parties;
    • protect the rights, property and/or safety of SevenM, its customers or the public in general.
  • Except as otherwise provided in these terms of use or expressly permitted by applicable law, the Institute itself shall not, or authorize any third party to:
    • Reproduce, modify, translate, enhance, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the software;
    • Rent, lease, or sublicense the software;
    • Resell the software for financial or non-financial gain, including change of product name and/or presentation styles, fonts, color schemes and business logic;
    • Nor circumvent or disable any security or technological features/measures in the software.
  • The use of the software is for the business or service of the Institute or their organization. The Institute agrees not to use the software or related services to:
    • to transmit any public content that contains personally identifying information (such as actual names, phone numbers, mailing addresses, email addresses, and URLs), or any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable
    • Harm minors in any way
    • Impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise misrepresent Institute's affiliation with a person or entity
    • Transmit content that the Institute does not have a right to transmit under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements)
    • Transmit content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary right (rights) of any other party
    • Transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment
    • Interfere with or disrupt the services, site, or servers or networks connected to the software or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies, or regulations of networks connected to the site
    • Intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, "stalk" or otherwise harass others or collect or store personal data about other Institutes
    • Frame the software, utilize framing techniques to enclose any service mark, logo, or other proprietary information, place pop-up windows over its pages or otherwise affect the display of its pages. This means, among other activities, the Institute must not engage in the practices of "screen scraping", "database scraping”, or any other activity with the purpose of obtaining lists of Institutes or other information
  • Subject to these terms, SevenM grants the Institute a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software to the extent the Institute has the right to use and access related services. SevenM retains all rights, titles and interest in the software and its related services, including all related intellectual property rights. The Institute shall not own the software source code and/or the trademarks. The software is protected by applicable international intellectual property laws, including international treaties.
  • SevenM reserves the right to modify any or all terms & conditions of use at any point of time and in any manner at its sole discretion. The same will be binding on all Institutes, active or dormant. Notice of any such modifications shall be posted on the product's website and shall be intimated to the Institutes through email. Any such modification(s) will be effective immediately after posting of such notice. Institute's continued use of the software or its related services constitutes Institute's acceptance of such modifications.
  • All communication related to the software within the Institute & SevenM shall be in written format – either through email or letters. No other communication medium shall be entertained.
  • SevenM will exercise no control whatsoever over the content of the information passing through the network. SevenM makes no warranties or representations of any kind, whether expressed or implied for the service it is providing.
  • SevenM also disclaims any warranty of merchantability or fitness for particular purpose and will not be responsible for any loss or damages that may be suffered by the Institute, including loss of data resulting from delays, non-deliveries or service interruptions by any cause or errors or omissions of the Institute.
  • Use of any information obtained by way of services of SevenM is at the Institute's own risk and SevenM specifically denies any responsibility for the accuracy or quality of information thus obtained.
  • Connection speed represents the speed of internet connection and SevenM does not represent or guarantees the availability of end to end bandwidth.
    SevenM reserves the right to immediately cancel any service account which is causing a disruption of services to its other Institutes.
  • Due notification for account suspension will be sent to the Institute in advance but, the Institute remains responsible to keep track of such dates, renewal payments, etc. for continuation of services. 
  • PayMyFee has multiple payment gateways already integrated within the system, to facilitate collection of fees and other charges from the students.
  • The Institute explicitly authorizes SevenM to collect and receive such fee payments and/or any other charges as the Institute may want to collect from the students.
  • All such fees/payments collected by SevenM shall be processed by, or involve, third party service providers with whom SevenM has prior agreements, to facilitate such services. SevenM reserves the rights to modify, change or alter, remove, add more such third party service providers as per its own discretion and choice.
  • All payments collected online shall be processed under secure environment. However, students are required and expected to take necessary precaution to safeguard their Bank Account details, Credit/Debit/ATM Card details, or any such confidential details from misuse. SevenM shall not be responsible for any loss, monetary or otherwise, incurred due the student’s use of his/her Bank Account details and/or Credit/Debit/ATM Card details, or any such confidential details at the PayMyFee payment portal.
  • All payments collected from the students on the Institute’s behalf, shall be transferred to the Institute’s bank account provided at the time of signing up within Transaction + 2 days, excluding Bank Holidays & Holidays in general as per RBI rules.
  • PayMyFee does not store any confidential details, such as Credit/Debit/ATM Card details, or Bank Account details on PayMyFee servers in any manner, either in plain-text or encrypted. All such details are to be provided at the Payment Gateway's page itself.
  • SevenM shall maintain a comprehensive, web-based knowledge-base for the Institute and its staff to be able to search for answers to the most commonly asked questions. The URL of the knowledge-base shall be provided under the ‘Help & Support’ section of the software. The knowledge-base can also be used as documentation of the software and shall contain step-by-step guidelines for each and every functionality in PayMyFee.
  • SevenM shall provide active support against technical bugs, faults and other issues in the software, if any.
  • Issues, out of the purview of working of the Software are not covered under the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Support shall be provided over multiple channels, as mentioned below, subject to the degree of the error/fault:
    • Live Chat Support: The Institute staff may get in touch with our support executives directly from the ‘Help & Support’ section of PayMyFee and try to resolve their queries over a chat.
    • Support Tickets: In case the issue could not be solved over the chat, the Institute may raise a support ticket at our helpdesk, details of which shall be available under the ‘Help & Support’ section of PayMyFee. We aim to resolve all tickets within 1 business day.
  • "PayMyFee" is the registered Trademark of SevenM, all graphics, logos, page headers, button icons, scripts and service names are Trademarks or Trade dress of SevenM.
  • In case of use of any Trade Mark or Patent Right at the Institute’s end, the Institute warrants that it has necessary right or title to do so and SevenM, in no way shall be held responsible for any claim or damage arising out of any such violation by the Institute.
  • The Institute confirms that they have all necessary rights, copyrights and trademarks for all the content, images, creative and other materials provided by them, and that any claims arising out of usage of such materials shall be settled by them only.
  • SevenM assumes no responsibility and shall not be liable for any disputes arising out of such issues.
  • SevenM may terminate services under this Agreement at any time, without penalty, if the Institute fails to comply with the terms of this Agreement, including non-payment. SevenM reserves the right to charge a service reinstatement fee at its sole discretion.
  • SevenM reserves the right to approve, cancel, upgrade or downgrade any customer account at its own discretion and choice, without assigning any reason whatsoever to anyone.
  • Any account, if not in use, or having no payment collected / received online from students for a period of 1 year, shall be terminated automatically without prior notice.
  • The Institute expressly agrees that use of SevenM’s server is at their own risk. Neither SevenM nor its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, third party information providers, merchants licensors or the like, warrant that SevenM’s server service will not be interrupted or error free; nor do they make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from the use of the Server service or as to the accuracy, reliability or content of any information service or merchandise contained in or provided through SevenM’s Server service, unless otherwise expressly stated in this Agreement.
  • Under no circumstances, including negligence, shall SevenM, its directors, officers, agents or anyone else involved in creating, producing or distributing company’s Server service be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses or damages that result from the use of or inability to use SevenM’s Server service; or that results from mistakes, omissions, interruptions, deletion of files, errors, defects, delays in operation, or transmission or any failure of performance, whether or not limited to acts of God, communication failure, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to company’s records, programs or services. The Institute hereby acknowledges that this paragraph shall apply to all content on company’s Server service.
  • Notwithstanding the above, the Institute's exclusive remedies for all damages, losses and causes of actions whether in contract, tort including negligence or otherwise, shall not exceed the aggregate amount which the Institute paid to SevenM under this Agreement.
  • The software has a specific purpose of facilitating and managing fees collection and fees payment process and shall be used for the same purpose only. Any account(s) sponsoring any other objective shall be terminated with immediate effect, with reimbursements with-held until legal formalities are complete.
  • The Institute may only use SevenM’s Server for lawful purpose. Transmission of any material in violation of any Federal, State or Local regulation is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to copyrighted material, material legally judged to be threatening or obscene, pornographic, profane, or material protected by trade secrets. This also includes links or any connection to such materials.
  • SevenM specifically denies any involvement or influence in the decisions made by the Institute authorities in regard to the fees collection/payment process of the Institute. 
  • The Institute agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold SevenM harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorneys' fees, ("Liabilities") asserted against SevenM, its directors, officers, agents, Institutes and employees that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by the Institute, its agents, employees or assigns.

    The Institute agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless SevenM against liabilities arising out of the use of company’s server:
    • Any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed
    • Any material supplied by the Institute infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party
    • Copyright infringement
    • Any defective/sub-standard product/service sold by the Institute
  • PayMyFee is a web-based software and thus requires a proper & active FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) to function. Such FQDN shall be provided to the institute upon the time of configuration and shall be active throughout the license period. The FQDN may be a top-level domain name or a sub-domain of one of SevenM’s top-level domain name.
  • The FQDN shall remain the property of SevenM during the license period and after the expiry of the license period. FQDNs are not transferable under any circumstances.
  • SevenM shall maintain and take proper data backups on a daily basis, keeping in mind the criticality of the data. SevenM is, however, under no obligation to maintain or provide backup of any data collected or loss of data, after the expiry of the license.
  • The Institute may, for their record, download the backup from the software’s ‘Export Data’ function from time to time.
  • The Institute shall be the owner of any and all data fed by the students during the time of application or interaction with the system.

SevenM Technologies Private Limited collects payments from individuals (each, a "Student") through dashboard.paymyfee.com and *.paymyfee.com websites ("Portal). Such payments are collected on behalf of Educational Institutions (Institute), from whom SevenM has obtained necessary authorization prior to accepting such payments.

Since the payments such collected are fees against online application, admission fee, library fee, laboratory fee or any other fees as the Institute may have configured in the PayMyFee system under their subscription, it is clear that the Users are willing to pay and apply under various courses offered by the Institutes. Refunding full or a part of the amount collected shall remain with the participating Institutes and that SevenM shall exercise no control over refunds.

Users may directly contact the Institutes for any refunds. The Institute's decision on whether or not to refund any fee/charge shall be binding on the Student.

We follow a 'T + 2' settlement cycle, meaning the payment will be settled into your bank account in 2 working days from the successful transaction date. This is the same bank account details of which were provided in your KYC documents.

Generally an identity proof with photograph and an address proof are the two basic mandatory KYC documents that are required to establish one's identity.

For KYC, one needs to upload copies of PAN Card, Aadhar Card & a Cancelled Cheque (without signature).

The objective of KYC guidelines is to prevent businesses from being used by criminal elements for money laundering activities. It also enables businesses to understand their customers, their financial dealings so as to serve them better and manage its risks prudently.

For KYC, one needs to upload copies of PAN Card, Aadhar Card & a Cancelled Cheque (without signature). If someone does not upload the KYC documents, settlements to the partner Institute will not happen & shall be withheld. To start settlements to your bank account, we need your bank account details & your PAN details.

Students can be added one-by-one or imported from an Excel file. Format of the Excel file can be found in the panel itself.

Unlimited. There is no limit on the number of students you can add or import.

Students will receive an SMS with their login details on their mobile phones immediately after their account is created in the system - either when you import student details in to the system or when you create their account individually.

Unlimited. There is no limit on the number of Courses, Programs or Batches you can create.

No. You can copy the fees structure & rename it as per your needs. You can also modify, add or remove fee heads if needed in the copied fees structure.

PayMyFee supports & accepts payments from all major Credit & Debit Cards (VISA, MasterCard, RuPay, AMEX, Diners), Internet Banking (All major Indian Banks), Mobile Wallets (Paytm, Mobikwik, JioMoney, etc.), UPI & Prepaid Cards. PayMyFee also supports acceptance of International payments.
